huh, I just checked the game stats because I was curious, and I see the population majority has shifted to zombies. For the longest time it was a slight majority of survivors, but now it's 58/42 in favor of zombies. What do you think the reason for that is, and what significance does that have on the game?

Perhaps the recent game changes? Humans being more conservative with their ammo because they cannot carry as much as they used to.
Less people outside shooting at random zombies means more standing zombies (a zombie population boost), which also means more zombies around to attack humans (a human population decrease).

The reason is obvious. You have all seen the films - the zombies always win in the end.

The mall tour has helped. The big bash brought it down to about 60/40 zombies/humands or lower.

I think its a combination of a very successful Mall Tour and the recent *update* to encumber our inventories. Some of the zombies went on strike earlier this year because they felt the game was terribly unbalanced in favor of survivors and asked for a little help. Their help came in the form of our encumbrances. Meh! Oh, how I miss my 17 shotguns! *sniff!*

oh poor zombies
it'd make sense if after a zed dies it got moved to a random location but as is it just stands back up. if a survivor dies it has to find a revie point, stand around mrh'in and is at the mercy of the local climate. if aall the revivers ae dead and looking for a revive, no one gets revived. now our hero has to wander off in to parts unkown in search of a revive from strangers.
