It was a dangerous time in Lerwill Heights. Zombies had ruined much of the suburb, and PKers were making life difficult for the survivors. Worse still, there existed a period of unrest between two human groups, the Sebright Union (SU) and the Milliways Militia (MM). Eventually, ambassador A big strong fireman (of the Sebright Union) and ambassador DonkeyPox (of the Milliways Militia) sat down to formulate a plan. It was decided that a formal battle would be an appropriate way to ease the tensions, and hopefully settle the differences between these two groups.
To that end, it was decided that various members of the Sebright Union and the Milliways Militia set a date, time and location to engage one another in a brawl. A consensus was reached: 28 November 2006, 22:00 GMT, Morrish Motel [22,52], Lerwill Heights. Humans and zombies from both sides faced one another across the McZeds counter, and engaged in battle.
Things began pleasantly enough, with hellos and a bit of hobnobbing:
Soon though, the mood turned foul. DonkeyPox of the MM scored the first kill, eliminating SUer Enya. However, the favour was immediately returned when Dark Pete of the SU killed DonkeyPox. The carnage continued as LawnmoversRfun, as a zombie, killed ABSF. But his undead success was shortlived, when LawnmoversRfun was sent to the land of the dead-undead by Dark Pete (his second kill!).
StevieB then removed Dark Pete before he could score the hat trick. StevieB immediately found his end at the hands of the SU's drodro, the last human standing.
Fun was had by all, including yours truly, who stood on the sidelines to bring you this gripping story.
Congratulations to the participants. Surely this will be a day long remembered in our collective memory.
