Donkey, how do you find these things? What deranged search criteria did you have to find this?

I'm putting my money on "he wrote it" LOL, and is in the process of raising funding for the movie.

You can't prove anything! I think the words, "Zombie Flick Fund" scrawled on the side of your piggybank gave it away.

My copy arrived this morning, along with a biography of Paul Dirac.
Which one should I read first I wonder?

OK. I read the first 10 pages.
It is every bit as crap as I expected, and I'm certainly too lazy to plough through a couple of hundred pages in the hope that it improves. On the plus side it looks enough like the standard "penguin classics" cover that I can hide it on the shelf with the genuine literature and hope nobody notices.
Over to Dirac.

Damn I was actually tempted to get that. Is it like a new story or just the romance replaced with bloody gore?

The story seems to be essentially the same*, except for the hordes of undead and the ninja skills of the sisters. The problem is that the zombie sections seem to have been integrated quite clumsily.
I think it could have been pretty good in the hands of a better writer, but unfortunately the author wasn't skilled enough to really pull it off.
I can see it working a lot better as a film.
*not that I can really remember it.

Yes, it is a disappointment. Well, not really, because I didn't expect it to be good. I'll rephrase: yes, it is bad.

Damn I was so looking forward to having that on my shelf if it was passable.

You could always buy it for its cover alone.
