To answer your original question: I have been following a pking strategy of targeting anyone in a building room on their own (or pairs of people if I have the ammo), on the grounds that nobody will come after me if there are no witnesses. BeetleCrunch has a score of about 8, GinMonkey has about 10.
If there were more zombies around I would be shooting them instead, but there aren't so I have been forced to make some.

I was going to suggest that we all ganged up and started conducting mass wipe outs of buildings - since the zombie scourge appears to have petered oot. (That one's for the Canadians).
