I don't remember seeing alligators in "Day of the Dead".

In the first couple of minutes of the film, when the helicopter lands and the heroine is calling for survivors, but is met by the howling of the dead... A couple of zombies go shambling past an alligator that is inexplicably hanging around outside one of the buildings.

Oh, yes! Didn't the zombie and the alligator comne out of a building at the same time? One shambled and the other crawled.

I just picked up "Re-Animator" with Jeffery Coombs (of "The Frighteners" fame) and I liked Re-A so much I ordered the second and third in the series, entitled "Beyond Re-Animator" and "Bride of Re-Animator". The first movie was pretty gross and gory and there's a rather shocking "lab scene" in the first movie but its very tongue-in-cheek, black humor. Yelling, laughing and screaming are quite permissible when watching this series. Think of MST 3000 with zombies and you have the right idea.

So was I, dear, but that's pretty normal for me before my second cup of coffee. And that's on a good day.

Stir-fried or sweet and sour? I'm assuming you got the leg with that boot.

Stir-fried or sweet and sour? I'm assuming you got the leg with that boot. She actually brought 2 jars of sweetwater crab ( freshwater - gone native too long). Ummm, tasty! Who needs brains when you've got crab and possibly as difficult to scoop out.

i caught this movie 'late night' couple months ago. a Vincent Price flick. early version of the Omega man. really quite good.
The Last Man on Earth (1964) .... Dr. Robert Morgan ... aka Naked Terror ... aka Night People ... aka The Night Creatures ... aka Ultimo uomo della terra, L' (Italy: dubbed version) ... aka Vento di morte ... aka Wind of Death
now then Enya, zombies are not real. so any fear you might have of them is more neurotic than healthy. say to yourself.. 'zombies are not real, zombies are not real' repeat. saying this softly in public will ensure you have plenty of personal space.

Yes, that's actually quite a creepy movie. I hope it turns up on my TV sometime so I can watch it again.
