Yeah, I think of it as Free Association. The mind is a terrible thing to waste but, somehow, we manage.

What's wrong with "Men in Tights"? That's a serious dance number the Merry Men are doing in the forest. Personally, I'm a big fan of movies like "Men in Tights", "The Princess Bride", "Ever After" and the like. It can't always be about serious stuff like "Aliens" and "Predator(s)" and zombies, you know. There must be a balance in life so one needs love and singing and dancing and dinosaurs sometimes. Edit: I wonder if the Merry Men in tights set me up for my obsession fascination for elves in tights from LOTRs. I shall ponder this today..... I think further research is in order. *grabs LOTR and starts DVD player.......*

My daughter, the long absent and much missed ConfusedOne, can repeat every word from the movie, "The Princess Bride". She can also do that with every episode of "Buffy" and "Angel". We used to mute the tv so she could recite the dialogue and I like her version (and inflections) more than the original but I'm her mommie. She is pretty funny when she does this. Platoon! Love the movie! Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings makes me weep every time I hear it! Anything with Bert Lancaster!
