I'm so jealous now. I know who going to be crowned Queen of the Ball. I'll have to find that runaway stole to beat that tiara.

Would you like to suggest a venue, or should we pick somewhere for you?

By all means, you're hosting the event so you should pick the place. However, I should point out (just in case you haven't noticed) that we're not too keen on spur of the moment or last minute invitations. It makes us feel so .... second choice and unappreciated ...like a backup date to the prom, and we tend to ignore those advances as being too common to warrant our attendance or response. Perhaps you could give us a little more notice? Say, suggest a time and a place in advance? If you would be so kind....

A zombie mink stole! That would be something. Thanks for the tiara offer, but I just finished crafting one. I got out my dentist tools and announced to some zeds that I had a big, juicy brain. When they started moaning, "Brahnz! Brahnz!", I popped out their gold caps (1 had a diamond stud grill going on which I snatched) and ran. A little glue, a little tinsel, and I am set. You stole the teeth from Paul Wall zombiefied?

So, I understand we have a date next week. I still haven't chased down that damn mink but I'll be there at Morrish, all giddy and blushing and ready to dance.

Don't worry about the Mink, as we are can't afford to be fashion concious in these times of horror. You are as welcome in a ball gown and an undead stole as a plain t-shirt and jeans.
Unfortunately some of my colleagues venture beyond indifference and into the realms of hostility. In fact some of our less worldy members are vegan communists of the worst kind! They think that undead animals should have the same rights as living humans, and seek to ban such sane and ordinary practices as the hunting of rabbits with helicopter gunships!
Personally I think that it is acceptable to kill almost undead mammal, provided that they explode in a suitably amusing manner...

Oooh a party! fun, fun, fun. I'll be there even though I've not got a lawnmower and a big jar of animal stimulant.

My editing broke. The last line should read:

provided that they explode in a suitably amusing manner... A diplomat and a mindreader, too? That's exactly what we're hoping to see.

I was told Tuesday, the 28th. I'm just waiting on a time so I can confirm with the caterers.

... and seek to ban such sane and ordinary practices as the hunting of rabbits with helicopter gunships! Personally I think that it is acceptable to kill almost any undead mammal, provided that explodes in a suitably amusing manner... I almost shit myself with laughter at this one.
